🌑Final Close Up Look🌑
All the firings came out successfully for my Nerikomi works. I had a moment where I thought “this might fail spectacularly” but they didn’t. All three clays that chose worked wonderfully together.
Figuring out patterns are little hard since I have small amount of spaces that I can work with since it is still important to me to have the coil coil lines throughout my work also making sure I don't go too far out from my original techniques.
I'm excited about this new approach to my work and will continue developing it.
Coiling workshop registration is open!

❣️Nerikomi+Coiling Collab Experiment❣️
I experimented with the nerikomi technique a few years ago, before I fully committed to coil building. I remember really enjoying the process of making and figuring out patterns.
Over the past couple of months, I’ve been thinking about how to bring coiling and nerikomi together; but I hesitated. I like to know, at least mentally, whether something will work before I try it.
Whenever I try something new, I go back to basics. The cylinder is my comfort form; my way of warming up. So I started coiling cylinder with Nerikomi technique combined, and I’m really happy with the result.
There’s still a lot to figure out, such as thickness, pinching pressure, and creating cleaner patterns, but I’m excited to keep exploring. I can’t wait to try this on my moon jars.

🌑Dark Moon with waves🌑
More shaving of the moon. It’s subtle but still there. Just have to look closer 👁👁. Shaving takes longer than making but it is fun to experiment!🥸

Long time no post haha😁! I had some nice long break from making since last October. I'll be posting more soon!
While I was taking a long break, I had a pleasure working with and this March during NCECA at Salt Flats in Utah. These are one of their photos that they took with my work.I don't have titles but it was very fun adventure with them. I would like to thank and for taking these awesome photos of my work. Also want to thank Tomo for coming along and having fun with Lia😆.
I am preparing online workshops and in-person workshops 👀! I am especially excited about in-person since I don't do so often. I cannot share them yet but stay tuned for more information!

🎉30K Giveaway🎉
Thank you all for supporting my work! It’s been one year since I did a giveaway for 15K and now I am posting about 30K giveaway. It has been fun making videos of my process. I will continue to make more videos and occasionally post final works!
I am giving away one of my original moon jar that I showed during my solo show. This is one of my favorite piece and I kept it with me until the special moment. This was made in 2024 and soda fired to cone 10.
To enter for the giveaway:
1. Follow me!
2. Tag one ceramics friend!
3. Comment that you’ve done the following things!

And that’s it haha. I wanted to make it as simple as possible. I will be announcing the winner on December 25 at 12:00pm MST. Due to international shipping being so complicated, I am only able to ship within United States and Canada!
Once again, thank you!❤️❤️❤️ and Spread the Word❤️
