Day 1. I've been trying to get off refined carbs and sugar off and on for months now. It's a difficult journey because those things are addictive. I gave up Dr. Pepper last July and I haven't had a soda since. So I'm definitely over that addiction. It was easy giving up the Dr. Pepper. I wish it was just as easy giving up things like cookies and even bread. Bread you buy in the store has a lot of refined carbs in it.
What if I just gave up cold turkey like I did with the Dr. Pepper? So that is what I am going to try to do. So today is Day 1 of hopefully many many days of not consuming things contribute to bad health. At least I'm steady with my workout regime, so I have that going for me.
