Rally drivers will try anything to keep their car on the road 🔧😅

After Sébastien Ogier damaged a wishbone from hitting a bank on Rally Paraguay's second stage, he and Vincent Landais tried to use a spanner to hold it in place and limp through the next test.

Alas, this time, the repair didn't hold and they became stuck, retiring on SS3 ❌

Complete and utter MADNESS on Rally Paraguay after three stages 🤯

Sébastien Ogier is OUT, his front-left suspension finally failing after damage picked up earlier on SS2. Oliver Solberg has lost over four minutes, his engine cutting out more than once on SS3.

Adrien Fourmaux lost almost two minutes stopping to change a puncture – and Jon Armstrong has lost his front brakes, shipping over a minute.

The result? Hayden Paddon leads a WRC round for the first time since Rally Portugal 2018 😱
