👋🏼 hello!! I haven’t posted in a bit - but am working on posting the spring tassels later this week and some metallics. 🌈

It’s getting to be a busy time of year for me at work as well as my kids’ activities (travel baseball and rockhounding 😵‍💫) and my other hobby as an urban dahlia farmer. Somehow I cram 130+ dahlias on my in-town property, which I sell at my roadside stand benefiting my local food bank.

All that to say - I may be slowing down soon - but will keep planning on special releases (think a summer release and a 4th of July set) and custom orders. I’m thinking MLB colorways will be popular with baseball kicking off soon! You’ll see I recently made a teal tassel - it’s gorgeous!

I have some new tassels to share; but realized the tassel size and floof might not translate through single photos and wanted to elaborate!

I’ll post the official drop later but wanted to be transparent about this first!

The drape of the tassel is affected by
🩷 the thickness of the leather (even varies across the same hide! 😵‍💫)
💜 the texture or treatment on the top, and
❤️ the length of the fringe.

I’ve gotten better about predicting how they’ll drape but am sometimes surprised to find one layer/color of fringe sticking out at odd angles because it’s too stiff or thick (or both!) for a short tassel! So I’ve taken to adding a step of breaking in the leather on pieces that feel like they might not drape well.

Also, if you are not aware, I hand cut the fringe to 1/8” width and am very precise. It’s very meditating 😅

Also, yes that’s my dog sleeping in the background of the comparison photos. She lives a luxurious life of sleeping on pillows. 😅🖤

After the success of the Valentine’s drop, I was so inspired by the Winter Olympics that I made a winter and icy themed drop that I was SURE would be popular. Either it was a dud (personally I don’t think so?) or the algorithm got me, but since then I’ve been making one-off tassels of my own inspiration and custom orders.

I’ve put all currently available tassels in one of two albums: $40 and $50. The difference is the silver clasp I know is less popular.
