There are conversations in dance that are not always easy, but they are necessary.

Episode 18 of StudioTypes: Raising the Barre, “We Belong Here,” gives our dancers the opportunity to speak about what they experience as part of a Black dance studio competing in spaces where they may not always feel equally seen.

We listen. We prepare them. We remind them of their worth. And we continue to make sure they understand that their talent, training, artistry, and presence belong in every room.

“We Belong Here” is more than an episode title. It is something we work hard to make sure our dancers truly believe.

Episode 18 gives our dancers the space to speak honestly about their experiences at competition and what it can feel like representing a Black studio in those environments.

Our responsibility goes beyond choreography. We are preparing dancers to understand their value, stand confidently in their placement, and know that they deserve to be seen, respected, and celebrated in every room they enter.

🚨 IMPORTANT STUDIO CLOSURE NOTICE 🚨

Dear Triple 7 Dance Families,

Due to inclement weather, Triple 7 Dance Studio is experiencing a power outage. We have been informed that power is not expected to be restored until after 5:00 PM.

For the safety and comfort of our dancers, families, and staff, Triple 7 Dance Studio will be CLOSED today, Saturday, October 10th.

All classes and rehearsals scheduled for today are canceled.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Please stay safe!
