Our new player selection screen in our upcoming Realm of Risks 🥳

Each character now displays their unique abilities the moment you land on them, adding energy and a stronger sense of connection.

The old version was clean but used static images. The new design not only brings them to life, it scales smoothly across device sizes like iPad.

We’re excited to see how this added depth changes selections and whether it sparks a greater sense of loyalty to new favorites.

What a day at Siege Fall Indie Festival! Huge thanks to everyone who came out to Siege Fall Indie Festival at Doraville Digital Studios today. We had a great time connecting with players, creators, and families who stopped through. Indie games are all about community, and today showed just how strong ours is. 💜🎮

We just launched two new websites 👀

• A refreshed brikymgames.com, all about our games and story
• A new home for Realm of Risks, where you can sign up for updates before launch

Both sites were built using AI. We used a tool called Cursor, and it honestly blew us away with how much it could handle, from layout to styling and even page generation.

That said... it was not push-a-button-and-done. Revisions, UX tweaks, mobile breakpoints, and brand consistency all still needed time and attention. But as a starting point? Cursor was a game changer.

If you’re building something on the web, it is worth checking out.

In Will Packer’s book "Who Better than You", he shares how he created a full persona named Sheronda for Girls Trip, guiding everything from tone to storyline. It made his movies feel real to the people they were meant for. Big tech companies use a similar approach when developing new digital products.

So at Brikym, we did the same.

Meet Jayden Ross, a Gen Z gamer who’s thoughtful, competitive, and unapologetically himself. Jayden represents a core player of our next game. He is not real, but he might as well be, and already providing some insights we could miss as millennials building for a younger generation.

We built an entire GPT around Jayden’s life. We can literally ask him what he thinks about a game mechanic, how his day is going, or which streamer he watched last night.

Why? Because we do not just want to make good games. We want to make the right ones.

We originally designed these kiosks to showcase our games at another company’s booth during events. But when that opportunity didn’t unfold the way we hoped, we pivoted.

Now? They live in our Airbnb, where guests of all ages can play, experience The Kingdom of Kuru Stolen Lumen and Lumen Race, and leave us real feedback. It’s been priceless.

Sometimes the plan shifts, and that’s not a failure, that’s entrepreneurship. Every “no” can become a new lane. All you need is the creativity to reroute.

When we launched The Stolen Lumen, we didn’t book a set, we turned the living room into one and premiered it on YouTube.

That’s the spirit of building a startup: bringing your dream to life right where you are.

What do we love about this era? It’s democratized. You don’t need a massive studio or gatekeepers to tell your story or launch your vision. Just the clarity to see it and the courage to build it.

Back in 2019 we were everywhere demoing Kingdom of Kuru, repping Brikym Games, and pulling up to any space that wanted to see more faces like ours in game development. We weren’t just building a game, we were growing a community.
