Twenty-nine years ago, this phrase came to mind one day as I drove through the Lost Pines. My good friend, Dave Hill, jumped into the "project" and helped with printing these bumper stickers (sold all 1000 of them, BTW, except for some I gave away). I put my last one on a vehicle that I (of course) ultimately sold. Thought my "new" Texas slogan was lost forever unless I reprinted them. Well, Tilley brought me one of the two he had saved for all these years. Makes me giddy to see it again. Granted, they need a new graphic design, but I still believe that TEXAS is My Home Town. We're going to have an official installation of it on my pickup today, complete with a beer christening. Won't that be just grand?
