The building contains a variety of finished and unfinished spaces. On the second floor there is a fully furnished, air conditioned, one bedroom apartment (sleeps 5). This space provides privacy and comfort, with a private bathroom, kitchen, living room and other standard amenities. Also on the second floor, there is a stage and auditorium, with seating for up to 100, great for live music, skits a
nd karaoke. This space comes outfitted with lighting and a robust sound system. Downstairs there are 2 or 3 rooms (depending on room availability) that will be available for a variety of uses, including additional sleeping space (cots/air mattresses will need to be provided by the guest(s). There will be a variety of furniture available for use as well. While the upstairs apartment is the only space that contains central air conditioning, some window units may be available in the other rooms (upon request and availability). Block 16 sits on a full city block with a lot of lawn space on all sides, including a backstop in one corner (perfect for kickball or wiffle ball), a gravel parking lot in another corner and an outdoor space in another. Yard games, picnics and other celebrations will have space aplenty. This is a very old building with a lot of character, however it comes with its share of imperfections. We recommend setting up a site visit prior to booking to ensure it'll meet your specific needs.
