SMITHVILLE AND SURROUNDING AREAS!!

Some may have heard that there is a company wanting to create a rock crushing plant on 153 in Smithville between River Bend park and Buescher. This will greatly impact air quality and truck traffic in town, plus be detrimental to those two precious parks. There is a public meeting Monday 9/18 at the VFW hall at 7:00pm. Written concerns can be sent to the address in this document or you can sign up to speak at Monday’s meeting. It is my opinion and the opinion of many that this project should be stopped. Read here and do some research too on the dangers involved with living near such a plant.
