Hi! I’m Marsha! I’ve gotten a lot of new followers so I thought I should reintroduce myself. I’m a mom, artist, yoga enthusiast, and small business owner! We have a very crazy household with the kids, 2 cats, and 2 dogs. I am so excited for this new adventure because it gives me a way to share the things that I find the most important; creativity, community, and providing a space for celebration.

I’m so excited! I just picked up the keys and paid the deposit for Wildflower & Embers new space! Located on the square in downtown Smithville, I couldn’t ask for a more perfect space! We are pushing to open our doors in October so if you’re looking for a space to hold a birthday party, baby shower, networking event, or small reception, please consider our space!

I’ve heard that you’re supposed to document your process of making art so here’s to first tries. It’s not perfect, but it’s really fun to watch. I didn’t know where this painting was going until it was done. I’m so happy to still be learning new things in my middle years. ❤️💞❤️

I’ll be honest, the last couple of weeks have been really difficult. I haven’t posted much because I’ve been knee deep in kid health things. I have felt a lot in a matter of a few short days. Heartbreak, anger, deep and unwavering love, gratitude, and so much more. Having kids is the best and most rewarding experience of my life, but when they are hurting, it’s also the most gut wrenching.
I’m glad to say that now that things have calmed down, I can get back to making art and connecting with my community.

Oh! Also, exciting things coming down the line as we may have found a home for Wildflower!
