When your kids need a little inspiration this summer to get out their art supplies and start creating...I'd love to assist them in going for it! I'm starting to upload a TON of kid friendly art tutorials to You Tube!!!!!

It is SO INCREDIBLY GOOD for them to continue to build their capacity to visualize, organize, and create their ideas!!!

I was told my artistic endeavors were a hobby and continually challenged with the idea that I was investing in the wind. An aimless pursuit. "What's wrong with you? What are you doing with your life?" or even after acknowledging something was there "It's such a shame you are wasting your talent." These were statements that actually encouraged growth. I learned that we collectively had a misunderstanding in generations past of how relevant and important this part of our wiring truly is!
Honestly, I couldn't give anyone a clear answer when challenged, because where you will go is an art piece unfolding in and of itself! What I did know was that the creative space, is where the fire burned the brightest. It was the language of my heart and the way I understood the world around me, and I couldn't let it go or put it away. When it seemed slow growing and fruitless, I stayed in that pocket because I simply loved being there despite it not making a way for accolades in a world that prefers a predictable path to success.

Studio Family: We wouldn't have had the honor of hosting all of you here in the studio if we believed those lies!

So for your littles that you love so much, tell them:
It's so MUCH MORE than "art". It is the ability to take ideas from the realm of imagination to tangible expressions in real life. It's a journey to becoming problem solvers, dream creators, CEO's, entrepreneurs, and excellent communicators! Draw, color, imagine, paint, and enjoy the creative journey emerging artists! I'll cheer you on every step of the way!

I tried to sell these on Marketplace, but I thought maybe they’d do better on the studio page?!!!!
-Three of these pieces (the framed mountain pieces) I custom designed for the boys bedroom. The largest one is 24x36
-The wood sign is custom painted by a local artist.
-The rest of the pieces are from Hobby Lobby.
-The tent is a twin sized bed tent.

Perfect for a cabin up north or camping themed bedroom. We actually have more frames and decor we’ll throw in if you’re interested.
Selling the whole lot for $150.00!!!!!!!

Hailey and Ella celebrated their 16th Birthdays here at the studio! This is a super special family of artists and they wanted to paint their beautiful dogs. I knew these portraits were going to be epic and I was not wrong. 💕🙌🏻💯😍😍😍Big shout out to G and Pat for hosting while I was out sick. We are all super proud of these ladies, gorgeous job! 😍😍😍😍💖💖💖💖🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Does anyone remember the show Cheers?! I don’t even remember watching the show much, and honestly, I was probably too young to understand the jokes or the content. 😳😂💯But the theme song…it’s been living rent free in my head for 3 decades and kept playing in my head the last two weeks:

It just feels fitting. The Studio is becoming what we dreamed. New friends coming in, and coming back, and we know your name, and we are indeed always glad you came!

On that note: the Studio was filled this weekend with old friends, new friends, warmth, laughter, chatter, and of course some peaceful painting in the midst of it all. We love every minute of this and celebrate every beautiful face that walks through the door. So grateful!!!!!
