A former Miss Black Massachusetts 2021, Hernica knows this journey from the inside out. She understands the excitement, preparation, sisterhood, and transformation that happens long before the crown is placed.
Now, she returns for the 5th year to serve the next generation of contestants, bringing her expertise in fashion, entertainment, and culture to create an exceptional experience for every woman who steps onto the Miss Black USA stage.
A Haitian-American daughter of Boston, Hernica has built an impressive career working with leading brands including Nike, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom, while contributing to projects across fashion and entertainment.
Her journey from contestant to industry professional is a powerful reflection of the women who continue to grow, evolve, and make an impact beyond the Miss Black USA stage.
