The Smithfield Figure Skating Club is a non profit organization that was formed by a group of local skaters in 1976, and two years later became a member of the United States Figure Skating Association, the national governing body for figure skating. SFSC offers skaters (3 years old through adult) skating instruction and off ice conditioning sessions. Programs run year-round at the Smithfield Munic

ipal Ice Rink. SFSC offers sessions in basic skills, moves in the field, freestyle, power/edge and ice dance. Off ice sessions are also offered in dance and conditioning.

Current full club members CHECK YOUR EMAILS!

It's that time again! US Figure Skating memberships for all members expire on June 30, 2026. As you know, membership with USFS is required for any skater who wishes to skate on any SFSC ice or on any other USFS club's ice. Current membership is also required to test or compete.

For the 3rd year in a row, SFSC is pleased to announce that we will be offering USFS membership renewals for all SFSC Home Club Members at a discounted rate.

🚨 All registrations must be submitted and paid for by June 15, 2026, no exceptions!

Whether you are brand new to skating, or looking to lace up those skates for the first time in years, this is the perfect class.

Class is held on Saturdays from 12-12:25pm and free skate from 12:25-12:50pm.
