💜🦋 Help Support Our Family During These Uncertain Times 🦋💜

This Saturday, be sure to visit the annual Lavender Festival at Christian Klay Winery ! It’s always one of our favorite events of the year, filled with beautiful lavender, talented vendors, live music, delicious food trucks, and so much more.

For the first time in many years, Stephanie’s Pottery Shop won’t be attending, and we’re truly sad to miss it. As many of you know, I’ve been focusing on my breast cancer treatment and recovery, which has required me to step back from shows this season.

If you’re attending the festival, please stop by and visit my friend Lorna Vincent Gallery a fellow potter, who will be selling our beautiful butterfly ornaments as part of a fundraiser to help support our family during this journey. 🦋 The butterfly has become a symbol of hope, strength, and transformation for us this year, and these ornaments are extra special.

If you’re unable to attend but would still like to help, you can donate through our GoFundMe:

Thank you to everyone who has supported us through your prayers, encouragement, purchases, donations, and kindness. It means more than you know.

✨ A little progress is still progress. ✨

Today I was able to spend a little time glazing in the studio. Not much, but a little—and right now, I’ll happily take it. 💙

Chemo has taught me to appreciate the small victories. I’m getting so close to the finish line, I can almost taste it! With only one treatment left, I’m feeling incredibly thankful. While I still have more steps ahead in my cancer journey, reaching the end of chemotherapy feels like a huge milestone.

I’m choosing to stay positive, be thankful for every good day and every good moment, and give myself grace on the harder days. Some days I create a lot, some days I rest a lot, and both are okay.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, prayed for me, sent encouraging messages, purchased pottery, shared my posts, or simply checked in. Your kindness has carried me through some very difficult days, and I am so grateful. ❤️

💗 Chemo #5 Update 💗

Yesterday was chemo treatment number five, and I am incredibly thankful to say that I only have one more chemotherapy treatment to go! 🎉

While finishing chemo feels like a huge milestone, my journey isn’t over yet. In many ways, I feel like I’ll be about one-quarter of the way to being cancer-free when chemo is complete. Next, I’ll have surgery, followed by a month of radiation, and then a medication I’ll take for the next 10 years.

I’ve been told that I make this look easy. I think that comes from choosing positivity every day, but I also don’t want to minimize how difficult this experience truly is. I’ve given birth, faced other serious health challenges, and chemotherapy has been the hardest thing I’ve ever endured. Every day brings a different struggle, and my energy continues to become more limited with each treatment.

Now I understand why people call cancer a battle. No one should have to fight it alone. I am beyond grateful for the friends, family, customers, and community members who have surrounded me with love, prayers, encouragement, meals, messages, and support. You have carried me through some very hard days.

The next time I’m at the hospital, I’ll finally get to ring the bell, and I cannot wait to celebrate that moment. 🔔✨ One more treatment stands between me and that milestone.

If you would like to support me and my family during this uncertain time, please consider donating to our GoFundMe. Every donation, share, and prayer means more than I can express:

Thank you all for walking beside me on this journey. Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers. We are taking this one step at a time, and I’m looking forward to celebrating the end of chemotherapy very soon. 💕🙏

✨ Today was a great day!! ✨

With the help of my amazing friends and family, I was able to get the pottery shop cleaned up and ready for a few weeks of rest. I even found enough energy to create a little bit of pottery before tomorrow’s chemo treatment.

Tomorrow morning at 10 AM, I’ll be receiving chemo treatment #5 — my second-to-last treatment! 🎉 Wooooo!! I couldn’t be more excited to be this close to the finish line.

I won’t sugarcoat it — my energy has been getting lower with each treatment, and it has been tough at times. But my spirits are high, my doctor shared the news we’ve been hoping for: the tumors are shrinking! 💗 That is exactly what we want to hear.

If you’d like to keep me in your thoughts or say an extra prayer tomorrow, I would be so grateful. I’ll be sure to keep everyone updated after treatment.

We also started decorating the shop because once I complete my final chemo treatment, we’re planning a little celebration to honor this milestone and everything it took to get here. 🎈✨ Here’s a little sneak peek!

And thank you to everyone who has supported my journey so far. Our GoFundMe is still open for donations. We haven’t reached our goal yet, but with your kindness and generosity, we’re getting closer every day. Every share, donation, prayer, and encouraging message means more than you know. 💕
