Aaron Burr is the founder of the Palmetto Tap Intensive

Aaron first saw Tap Dogs at six years old. Fifteen years later, he auditioned and joined the company. Aaron toured internationally with the show. At twelve years old, ten-time Tony Award winner Tommy Tun

e invited Aaron to join him on the National Tour of Dr. Dolittle. He had the honor of performing a tap duet alongside Mr. Tune for nine months. At 16, Aaron performed in Tap Kids at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, receiving five-star reviews from the Scotsman. He’s also been seen dancing on America's Got Talent, America's Most Talented Kids, and Good Morning America. Aaron is currently a swing for Rhythmic Circus: Feet Don't Fail Me Now, and has toured the country with the high-energy show. He grew up performing in his hometown at the Alabama Theater. Additional credits include: Holland America Cruise Lines, Hapag Lloyd Cruise Lines, Merry Go Round Playhouse, The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina (Hilton Head), and Hershey Park. Aaron is on faculty with Showstopper Dance Conventions and teaches workshops, master-classes, and choreographs for dance studios across the country. Some rhythms are felt in the feet. Others, in the heart. Today we honor both. 🇺🇸 And a special shoutout to my our Creative Director, Aaron Burr, who has never once let a floor go to waste — grocery store, parking lot, kitchen at 7am, subway, restaurant… if there's a surface, there's a shuffle (scroll for proof 🤣). Here's to the heroes who gave us freedom, and all of us who dances in every inch of it. 🕺✨

It's an honor to be bringing back in the LEGEND that is Jason Bernard!! A crowd favorite and a mega-talent for PTI 10!

Jason E. Bernard is a native New Yorker from The Bronx. At the age of 17 he made his Broadway debut in The Tony Award winning musical "Bring In 'da Noise, Bring In 'da Funk". In 2000 he made his feature film debut in The Spike Lee Feature Film "Bamboozled" and in 2001 he appeared alongside the late Great Gregory Hines in The Showtime Original Movie "Bojangles". He traveled the world with the international dance phenomenon "Riverdance" for 10 years performing for millions of audience members. For 3 years while living in Ireland Jason performed with Cois Céim Dance Theater for their premiere production of “Dodgems” and their 10 year anniversary revival of "Boxes”. In 2011 “Cotton Club Parade” premiered at City Center for “Encores” where Jason originated the role of one of “The Five Blazes”. That production went on to Broadway as “After Midnight” and won a Tony Award for Best Choreography. In 2022 Jason was nominated for an Industry Dance Award for Favorite Convention Teacher. Currently, he is on tour with LA Dance Magic as their Tap Educator and he is the director of the LA Dance Magic Tap Company. Jason is truly honored to be able to share and teach the gift of rhythm around the world!
