As per usual the important part first in case you don’t want to read my annual long winded birthday post, it’s time for my annual enrichment time in my enclosure! I’ll be unavailable from May 1st-6th so any messages will be replied to May 7th!

Hey I’m fu***ng THIRTY. Let that sink in. I would like to first and foremost thank my Botox lady, antidepressants and therapy. (Pause for applause and laughter)

As someone who has learned almost every lesson the hard way, I’ll give you a short list of some of the lessons I feel are most important to me now at 30.
-If you need to scream or beg to be heard, it’s not worth your time.
-if you trust the universe, the universe will trust you.
-actually change your oil every 5,000 miles. Please. You will seize your engine.
-Standing up for yourself is scary but gets easier every time you do it, don’t be a doormat. Forge that steel spine.
-be authentic even if it feels cringey, 1-800- pound sand to those who make fun of you.
-If it no longer brings you joy or serves a purpose for you, get rid of it (and I’m not just talking about inanimate junk).
-never stop learning and expanding yourself.
-support people, it’s free and one of the greatest things you can do.
-get the damn dog in your 20s when it feels like a horrible idea, trust me, it isn’t 🥹💛

So hey, in honor of me, I implore you to smack a v**e, crack a joke, raise hell, grab some McDonald’s, slug a redbull, listen to some s**tty pop punk, burrow in your couch like a tick, accidentally swear in front of the wrong crowd, whatever the heck reminds you of little ol me.

It’s the honor of a lifetime to make sure you all feel seen, safe, and heard. To decorate your bodies, to experience your lives. Thank you for allowing me to be a safe space and giving me one in return. I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without you. Thank you for subjecting yourselves to my chaos and choosing me. Here’s to 3 decades under the influence, see ya’ll on the other side 🔥♉️

Hi everyone.
Another not so fun post for me to make, and I don’t want to sound like a broken record but I am in fact here again to talk about canceling.
I am tired. Lol, that’s the general vibe of this post.
I love my job, I truly do. I know I am lucky. But I am tired. I try to be as kind and as understanding as I can be, but please at this point I am begging you all do not make an appointment you know you will not be able to keep. If you have an appt and cannot make it I need to know as soon as you do. Once again, I know things come up and can’t be helped, I was just stuck in Florida for an unexpected 48 extra hours, and snowmaggedon had us all snowed in. So trust I do understand. But cancelling on me last second leaves me no time to fill the spot, and leaves me with no paycheck for the day. I do not want to be rude or turn into a drill sergeant here but I feel like I am being taken advantage of because of my understanding and that’s a tough realization to come to.
The last couple of months have really made me jaded and beat down my hopeless optimism to the point I’m starting to not enjoy my career. Mostly because I can only enjoy something if I get the opportunity to do it. This is a hard thing for me, because this job and you all are my entire life.
I think we all also know that although I charge a 100 dollars an hour I rarely stick to that. Unfortunately due to all these cancellations and the state of the economy I have to now actually stick to this hourly rate.
The clock will start when I sit down and the machine turns on, and when the machine is off and the final wipe happens I will have to charge accordingly. Deposits will still be required.
I’ll bounce back in mindset, but it has been a really hard couple of months and I’m pleading with you all to understand where I am at and why I need to metaphorically crack the whip. I love you all endlessly, and as always: thank you.
