🌦️ SLOCOMB TOMATO FESTIVAL WEATHER UPDATE 🌦️

After carefully monitoring the forecast and discussing all available information, the Mayor has made the decision to move forward with both the parade and the festival as scheduled.

As always, weather conditions in South Alabama can change quickly, and we will continue to monitor the situation closely throughout the event.

We completely understand that some vendors may choose not to take the risk due to the forecast, and we respect that decision. The safety and comfort of our vendors, volunteers, and attendees remain a top priority.

At this time, the parade and festival will proceed as planned, and we look forward to celebrating with our community tomorrow. We encourage everyone to stay weather aware, come prepared, and join us for another great Slocomb Tomato Festival!

We are currently receiving a high volume of messages, calls, and texts regarding the weather. Please know that we are aware of the forecast and are monitoring conditions very closely.

As South Alabama residents, we know firsthand how quickly weather conditions can change and how unpredictable forecasts can be. At this time, it is still too early to make any decisions regarding delays or cancellations for Tomato Festival events.
