WOULD YOU LIKE TO TAKE A SURVEY!?!?
An important component of DrachenFest US is our evaluation process. If you attended this year's event, you will have received an email with a link to our Participant Feedback Survey. This is the number-one way to have your voice and input heard!

Please take a few minutes to click the link and fill out this post-event questionnaire. Our Board and staff take this process incredibly serious, and every piece of feedback is logged and considered with open ears and eyes looking to make our event even greater.

Today is the beginning of DrachenFest Germany, the event that started it all! From all of us at the US event, we wish everyone attending an incredible, safe, fun week of friendly competition to honor the Dragons!

DrachenFest is a feat that is only accomplished by all of us working together as a single community. We all proudly embrace, support, uplift, and encourage one another as a DrachenFest family.

Today, one of our champions has asked our family for help.

Sean Robert plays Audo Hæler of the Audo Lotto, in Rat City near the Bacaro. Audo is the best (worst) bookie in all the Drachenlands (maybe even the only one?). He has been battling Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) since he was thirteen, and recently, his kidneys can no longer function. He is preparing for dialysis and is on a waitlist for a kidney transplant, but it often takes years for one to become available.

A live donation could save years of his life, get him back on his feet, and return him to the Drachenlands much sooner.

Sean has asked we share his story here, and would greatly appreciate if each of us could then share this on our own social pages. Perhaps one of us is a willing donor and a good match? And if not one of us, then perhaps someone one of us might know?

Kidney donation is safe and surprisingly common. Donors are completely healthy and able to live a normal life afterwards. Kidneys from live donations also tend to last the recipient much longer than those from deceased donors, and could keep Sean off of dialysis for the rest of his life.

It is not necessary for a potential donor to be located near Sean – you can be assessed locally where you live.

Our Avatars carry incredible staves, each embodying the aspects and personalities of their dragon and the camp they have called.

Each staff has been meticulously custom-crafted specifically for DrachenFest US by our amazing sponsors, Les Artisans d'Azure and Ateliers Nemesis Workshops. They have been creating one for us each year, adding Blue in 2026, and Shadow next year.

The event is over, the campground is clean, and we've all made our way back to our homes and day jobs. As we look back on the incredible time we had together and begin debriefings and review processes to look toward next year, we can't help but be so happy and proud of this magical thing we create together.

Thank you to everyone who has attended DrachenFest US, to our sponsors and vendors, to all of our volunteers, coordinators, and leads, and to our Board of Directors. It truly takes this entire medieval village to raise the Islands each June.

The dragon champions have collided in battle, a ferocious, brutal climax to days of strategizing, scheming, campaigning, questing, and sieging. This year's competition was tense, the dragon egg counts were close, but in the end, the fifth annual DrachenFest concluded with the Green Avatar and her camp rising as victors!
