COMING UP ON THURSDAY -

- We'll be reading Night Sky by Susan Yankowitz this Thursday, June 11 at 7pm, at the second evening of Cold Brews & Cold Reads.

- Stephen Hawking famously noted that only two mysteries remain unsolved: the brain and the cosmos. In the extraordinary drama Night Sky, these two worlds collide. Anna is a brilliant astronomer at the peak of her career, until a sudden accident strips away her most vital tool—her ability to speak. What follows is a deeply moving, funny, and fiercely original journey, as Anna fights to navigate a fractured personal life and a shifting professional universe.

It’s the first week of Cold Brews & Cold Reads. We’re reading The Cottage, a fast-paced and witty s*x farce. We’re having a lot of fun with the quirky characters and the British accents. Next Thursday we’re reading Night Sky. We hope you’ll join us. 7:00pm every Thursday in June.

Cold Brews & Cold Reads is back!

Join us in June for our 5th annual summer script-reading series. Each week in June we’ll be doing a cold-read of a script.

These cold table reads are a nice chance for actors to check out some of the shows we have coming up. They’re also a great way to do a little low-key theater just for fun during our off months. Come to participate or come to watch. We’ll trade off roles to make sure everyone who wants gets a chance to participate.

No tickets, no tryouts, and no admission charge. Our cash bar will be open. See you on Thursday!

Join us in June for Cold Brews & Cold Reads.

The Cottage will be the fifth show in our upcoming season. We're reading it first this summer, on Thursday, June 4 at 7pm. In the style of Noel Coward, this is a very British period comedy about s*x, betrayal, and oh yes, love. It has a lot of surprises, and it's a lot of fun.

Summer is almost here! That means it's time for Cold Brews & Cold Reads at Kettle Moraine Playhouse!
