💙 That’s a Wrap on Summer Training! 💙

Today was our last summer class until school starts, and I won’t see my girls for a week while they get ready to head back to school! 🥹📚

This summer, we have TRAINED! From ballet, conditioning, stretching, technique, intense workouts, and so much more—these girls have been putting in the WORK! 💪🏽🩰

But today was much needed. After the quiet, focused classes and intense training we’ve had all summer, it felt good to just have FUN, laugh, bond, and enjoy each other! We had an AMAZING time! 🎨💙

A huge THANK YOU to my amazing parents for always going above and beyond for Slidells Finest and, most importantly, for your children. Your support never goes unnoticed, and I truly appreciate you! 🫶🏽

Now it’s time for my girls to enjoy their little break, get ready for school, and come back ready to WORK!

I’m SO excited to see what this new season brings! 💙✨

Saturdays are for BALLET. 🩰💙💛

I’ll always stand on this: the real flex isn’t just flips it’s being technically trained. Majorette is evolving, but proper training will never go out of style. At Slidells Finest, we don’t rush the process. We train, condition, stretch, and build strong foundations before we perform.

A huge thank you to Kat Katherine Carman for pouring into my girls, pushing them past their limits, and helping them become the best dancers they can be.

Ask my students—we’re never in a rush to put them on the floor. I’d rather take my time developing technically sound dancers than rush them out before they’re ready.

If you’re looking for a studio that values discipline, technique, and doing things the right way, welcome home. If you’re looking to skip the training and just dance right away, I may not be the coach for you and that’s okay.

Today we officially welcomed our Performance Team, and we couldn’t be more excited! 💙✨

We’re proud to offer this program for dancers and families who may not be ready for the demands of our Competition Team just yet. Every dancer’s journey is different, and we’re committed to helping each student grow with confidence, discipline, and strong technique.

No matter which team you’re on, the goal remains the same: to learn, improve, and become the best dancer you can be. Every class is an opportunity to build skills, create lasting friendships, and develop a love for dance.

Here’s to a season filled with growth, hard work, unforgettable memories, and lifelong bonds.

Cheers to sisterhood! 💙👑✨ We are beyond excited for everything this new season has in store.

This is what consistency looks like. 💙✨

I’ve been coaching Imani since 2023.

The first video is from her very first recital in June 2024. She was one of my Tiny Tots in tap and ballet, just beginning her dance journey.

In October 2024, after I closed my previous studio location, Imani’s mom chose to stay committed to the process. While we waited for our new studio, Imani continued practicing with me at my home. She was my only Tiny Tot at the time. She wasn’t doing parades, competitions, or performances—just showing up, learning the fundamentals, and putting in the work every practice.

Fast forward to July 2025, and Imani officially joined the Competition Team. She went through bootcamp like a champion. As the smallest dancer on the team, it wasn’t always easy, but she never gave up.

Now look at her.

From July 2025 until now, her growth has been incredible. Her movements are clean, she’s confident, and she’s performing full routines at such a young age.

This is what happens when a parent trusts the process, a dancer stays consistent, and the work continues outside of practice.

Growth doesn’t happen overnight—it happens through dedication, discipline, and showing up even when no one is watching.

I’m so proud of you, Imani, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes you next. 💙
