Slidell Food and Fun Fest Fair Entry & Safety Policy
Purpose
To ensure a safe, family friendly environment for all attendees, the Slidell Food and Fun Fest fair will enforce the following entry and conduct guidelines. These rules apply to all guests, volunteers, vendors, and staff.
Entry Requirements
Clear Bags Only — All attendees must use clear bags for entry.
Bags must be fully transparent (plastic or vinyl).
Small opaque wallets (no larger than a hand) are permitted.
No Hoodies Allowed — Hooded sweatshirts, shirts, jackets (with attached hoods), or pullovers may not be worn inside the fairgrounds.
Guests arriving in hoodies may enter only after removing the hoodie or returning it to their vehicle.
Head coverings for religious or medical reasons are permitted.
Exceptions
Medical equipment bags may be inspected and approved by security.
Diaper bags for infants will be subject to search.
Religious or medical clothing accommodations will be respectfully honored.
Prohibited
Backpacks, duffel bags, or any nonclear large bags
Weapons of any kind
Drones
Alcohol, drugs, or va**ng devices
Masks or face coverings not required for medical reasons
Clothing that obscures identity (including hoodies with the hood up)
