Maggie Moux aka as Ms Wiggle Butt has been keeping us quite busy. When Maggie is happy she doesn’t just wag her tail, she shakes her entire butt hahaha 😆.
She’s doing well with potty training and she is a very sweet puppy. Biggest challenge is keeping her from biting on to Bassie’s ears and hanging on which obviously hurts my sweet Bassie girl. And then our living room is littered with toys all the time. Puppy life.....

We have a new family member as of last Sunday. My husband has always been a field spaniel lover and after loosing our Torree in February, Magnolia aka Maggie is a welcome new addition to our home. Bassie has been happy to have a puppy to play with too. I feel there will be some painting fun in the future.

One of my recent art projects was this mural for Gospel Revolution Church in Slidell Louisiana. My friends Cindy Jenkins picked out a design, and I drew it out on the wall. Cindy and Linda Sorenson were my amazing helpers.

My Story-Loving Pets and Art

I was born and raised in Germany and grew up in my mom’s studio. She was a successful artist in Germany as well as in England. I started painting in my mom’s studio at a very early age and always loved art.

My family immigrated to the US in 1982 and I enrolled in college as a fine arts major. Raising kids and taking care of family responsibilies had me distracted from creating art until recently. My love of dogs and animals rekindled the flame and I started painting again.

As a dog owner our family pets bring us so much joy and are an integral part of what creates happiness. Capturing our pet’s personality and expressions on canvas brings happiness to our family. My goal is to do the same for fellow pet lovers. Experiencing reactions of clients is priceless: filled with joy and welling up with tears.
