my pappi sketched this one when he was a young boy without even knowing the weight of his creativity. i like to think he’s giddy up there in the great beyond watching me share the completed version with you. a visualization of true legacy.

do not rush me.

a week of envisioning myself as a snail has been comical, but helpful in the face of eclipse season. this microcosm is reminding me to slow down so that i can feed the good thoughts and speak the kind words vs. the opposite that always come back to haunt me. even in the latter, it's just another way to learn how to live in my humanness.

when i dream of angels, they appear like this: unpredictable geometric shapes over colors of all different varieties. they are the one beings that are clear and unmistakable to me in the dream world. unlike people or animals who's true meaning often gets distorted by my ego.

expressing them is still very new to my practice, but i have a longing to share this one specifically. hope it speaks to whoever needs it 🕸️

finding all the four leaf clovers in the world couldn’t soothe the feeling of missing my mawmaw. she loved this community and still does, from somewhere in the ether.

the road to her transition over this past year has been a long winding for my whole family, but through it, we’ve seen that the truest, most beautiful form of love is tucked in the waves of grief.

this love is what’s led me to create more than i ever have before and it’s what keeps me hopeful that all of this is worth it.

this week's email is in honor of her and all the beautiful humans i've had the honor to know and let go of earthside.

what a beautiful thing to be alive, even in grief!

sometimes when i close my eyes i see myself as one with this place, and we're always creating something together.
i usually don't know what that is until i look up from my ipad after an hour in flow state and really see what's looking back at me...

then i come back to earth and go about my day grocery shopping or feeding the dog, ha!

what a gift to be completely immersed in something beyond me, but always able to come back to being 100% human. that is the realest creative practice.

life is incredibly surreal. hope you can find the awe somewhere creative too!
