"The Merritt: Masterwork of Design and Planning" is an exhibit at the New Canaan Library featuring the parkway's history, photos and several paintings (by me) in celebration of the Merritt Parkway Conservancy's 25th anniversary. This exhibit was put together by Arianne Kolb, Executive Director of the Conservancy, with its design by Tom Berntsen . The Merritt Conservancy works to keep the Merritt true to it's original form and purpose, remaining as one of the most beautiful parkways in the U.S. It is protected under the National Register of Historic Places and the World Monuments Watch List. Stop by and see it! There until Sept. 30th, 2026. 🌟⭐️🌟🌟⭐️🌟🌟⭐️🌟🌟⭐️🌟🌟⭐️🌟

🌟 Hi All! I am happy to say I'm going to be in this group show along with 5 other artists. I will be showing five paintings at the Rockefeller State Park Preserve Gallery in Pleasantville , NY. Hello All!! 🌟I will have five paintings in this delightful show at Rockefeller State Park Preserve in Pleasantville, NY. All are welcomed to the reception on June 7th from 1 - 3 pm. I'd love to see you!! 🌟 Total run of the show is from May 2 - June 20.

This 🌟 Merritt Parkway painting 🌟 on a Saab stainless steel hubcap, plus 2 other paintings, will be part of the ▶️▶️▶️▶️
Exhibition at the Lightburn Gallery celebrating 25 years of the Merritt Parkway Conservancy. The Conservancy is responsible for safeguarding this historical CT gem. The exhibition runs from April 1 - September 30.The gallery is part of the New Canaan library. (Yes, I'm younger here!!)

A new 🌟 24 x 24 inch oil over acrylic, a field of tall Joe-Pye W**d. Although "w**d" is in the plant's name, this beautiful plant is often planted in people's gardens. I painted this alla prima, wet paint into wet paint. Cheers on this snowy day here in the east.

Here's a new 🌟 24 x 36 inch oil entitled, "Shoreline Wonderland" or "Shoreline Odyssey." Naming a painting can be its own odyssey! I enjoyed painting all the co-existing, co-mingling plantlife here. It's quite a show!

New 🌟 oil painting on aluminum panel, 18 x 20 inches. I started this one as an experiment with blues and darker blues and some black mixed in there. I ended up with less blue-blacks and grey background to this. You don't always know where a painting will go! Happy days!!!

A 🌟 new painting entitled, "Renewal, Hellebores." A small, 12 x 12 inch oil on aluminum. It'll be a while before spring, but I enjoyed painting it this fall. Here, new blooms rise out from under old plant leaves, signifying rebirth, hope, and resilience.
