I have said it before, and Iā€™ll say it againā€¦ I have the best retreaters in the world. šŸ’™

I recently told one of my sweet retreaters how amazing she smells. This week she showed up at retreatā€¦ bearing gifts! šŸ„¹

She spoiled me with Tyler Diva Glamorous Wash (my laundry is about to smell incredible!), a Tyler candle, the most wonderful lavender goat milk lotion, and another pair the BEST kitchen towels!

Itā€™s never about the gifts - itā€™s about the thoughtfulness behind them. The friendships that have grown around this place over the past 4-1/2 years are something I never could have imagined when Osage Hills Retreat first opened.

You ladies have celebrated lifeā€™s milestones with me, carried me through the hardest seasons of my life, and somehow still find ways to make me feel loved and appreciated.

Thank you for spoiling me. Thank you for your kindness. And thank you for reminding me every single retreat why this is the best job in the world. ā¤ļø

One of the less glamorous jobs behind the scenes at Osage Hills Retreat is recovering all of the ironing and pressing stations ā€¦ and today was finally the day. šŸ˜Š

While our scrapbook retreaters are busy creating memories (and donā€™t use irons in their craft), I am taking advantage of the perfect opportunity to give all nine individual pressing stations and both large pressing tables a much-needed refresh today.

This scrapbook group is here for their fourth annual retreat at Osage Hills Retreat, and I always appreciate returning guests who feel like old friends. Their timing couldnā€™t have been better!

These projects arenā€™t exactly my favorite part of retreat life, but thereā€™s something satisfying about seeing everything looking fresh, clean, and ready for the next group of crafters. I think they are turning out super cute!

A retreat center is a little like a duck gliding across the water. Guests enjoy the fun, creativity, and relaxation, while behind the scenes thereā€™s always a list of maintenance, upgrades, and projects keeping everything running smoothly.
