Guwakaan Heen accepting orders again for sea otter/harbor seal slippers and hats. At approximately 1 million hairs per square inch, sea otter fur is the densest fur IN THE WORLD! Between the years 1741-1867 the Russian’s as they explored and colonized southeast Alaska had hunted them to near extinction. Since then the population had managed to bounce back, great for those of us who have been here since time immemorial as we say, or since always, the Tlingit Indians. These (along with harbor seal and sea lions) are what are called Restricted Marine Mammals and are only harvestable by those who are 1/4 blooded legitimate Alaskan Natives. Message the page or myself for any interest. All completely hand sewn custom made products with over 20 years of experience behind it, no machines so you know it's a solid stitch wink emoticon.
