🎤 We’ve been kicking around an idea for Mountain Mama and I’d love some feedback…

What if we created a Mountain Mama Launch Stage — a dedicated space for up-and-coming artists, solo performers, kid bands, and musicians just getting started to get a real shot at playing a festival?

As a lifelong drummer, I know how much an opportunity like that can mean. Not every artist starts out on a big stage, and I’ve always liked the idea of Mountain Mama having a place where new musicians, younger musicians, and local talent can get in front of a crowd, gain experience, and be part of the festival.

We’re thinking the second stage beside the Big Shelter could become exactly that.

A space for:
🎶 Kid bands
🎶 Solo artists
🎶 Singer-songwriters
🎶 Acoustic acts
🎶 Newer bands looking for experience
🎶 Quick setup / quick teardown performers

Before we run with it, I’d love to hear what people think.

🎤 Returning to the Mountain Mama stage for a third straight year, Sunshine Murphy is back for MMMF 2026!

A familiar name to Mountain Mama fans, Sunshine has been part of the lineup since the very beginning and returns once again to perform in Sistersville Park.

🎶 Please help us welcome Zoe Buccella to the Mountain Mama Music Festival 2026 Main Stage! 🎶

Hailing from Sistersville, Zoe Buccella performs as Rosezella and the Visions, blending country and folk tradition with modern experimental and electronic influences. Named after a great-grandmother from Appalachian Ohio, her music explores themes of rebirth, creative healing, and the journey of integrating light and shadow.

Join us on Saturday, August 29th from 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM as Zoe brings her unique sound to Sistersville Park.

Please help us give Zoe a warm Mountain Mama welcome!

The Mountain Mama Music Festival is proud to announce the 2026 Hall of Fame Inductees!

• Tracy Allen (In Memory)
• Jeff Rose

These individuals have helped shape, support, and carry forward the musical spirit of the Ohio Valley and our local music community.

This year we will also begin creating a permanent Mountain Mama Music Festival Hall of Fame display featuring all inductees from previous years and moving forward.

Over the coming weeks, we will be reaching out to the families and artists inducted this year so we can spotlight each individual and share their musical journey and contributions to our area’s music scene.

We also invite all Hall of Fame members from the past two years and their families to come see the new permanent display during this year’s festival weekend.

Mountain Mama Music Festival camping reservations officially open this Monday through the Sistersville City Building.

Whether you want a premium riverfront spot, the full Camp Mountain Mama experience, or an RV hookup site — we’ve got options for your festival weekend.
