We had a great opening reception over the weekend! The crowd was so friendly and interested in printmaking. Ed is the mover and shaker making mighty Tieton, WA (smaller than Sisters!) into an enticing, cool town. Big thank you to Jane for being such a great host to us!

We are excited to come together to exhibit at the Boxx Gallery in Tieton, WA on August 1-30! You are invited to the opening reception of Samplings from Studio 6000 on August 1, 1-3pm.

The exhibit embodies the breadth of disciplines and materials used by our members and the passion for art that that draws us together.

Vibrant and energetic works produced by students in Carolyn Platt’s pochoir workshop. In pochoir, individual inked pieces are layered and rearranged each time they are run through the press. There are many surprises due to the layering one can experiment with.

Today, Cate O’Hagan celebrated her birthday with pochoir (images 1, 2) and Nancy Widlman made her own playful creations (images 3, 4, 5)!
