Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave everything for our country. 🇺🇸

On Memorial Day, we pause to reflect on the sacrifices made for the freedoms we hold dear in our communities, our traditions, and under flags that still wave proudly across the West.

We are so proud to announce that we have a new flagpole that now stands over the Sisters Rodeo grounds!

And it represents far more than steel and welding! This project was built with pride, craftsmanship, generosity, and deep respect for the American flag and the traditions that make the Sisters Rodeo special.

A tremendous thank you goes to Michael Reger and Sunburst Fabrications for spearheading this major improvement project and donating an incredible amount of time, coordination, and expertise to make it happen on a tight timeline before heading out of town. The new structure was custom-built to properly and respectfully fly the large American flag proudly displayed over our arena. 🇺🇸

The Sisters Rodeo is mourning the loss of Dr. Tyler Newton, who served as the Sisters Rodeo veterinarian for the past three years. Dr. Newton volunteered his time throughout rodeo week, providing veterinary support for contestants’ horses and assisting with the care and safety of rodeo livestock.

If you have a memory, note, or a few words that you'd like to share, Denali with Tumalo Ridge Equine Veterinary Services is putting together a keepsake for the family and would be honored to include yours. There's no expectation for length or formality; anything from the heart is more than welcome.
