And with that, our 2026 Season has come to a close. Our great thanks go out to all of the beautiful people who joined us in the Garden this summer for LOVE’S LABOUR’S LOST and THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST.

This summer was a witty, wacky, wonderful one that we are sure to remember for many years to come. 💕

Didn’t get a chance to join us this time around? Watch this space for more info on Summer 2027! It’s only a matter of time before we’re making merry magic under our Maple once more. 🌳🌅

Our 2026 Season runs for just ONE MORE WEEK! While we wish our summer could last forever, we must close our season on August 22.

📚🌼 LOVE’S LABOUR’S LOST runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7:30 PM.

🌸☕️ THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST runs Tuesday and Thursday at 7:30 PM and Saturday at 5:00 PM.

Door Shakespeare releases 12 $12 tickets every day at 12:00 noon for that evening’s performance. Call our Box Office on the day of the show you’re hoping to attend and ask about our “12 for 12” program — they’ll take it from there! 🎟️

LAST CHANCE! Pre-show programming ends this week! ⏱️🌲🍽️

TOMORROW (Wednesday, August 10): Will in the Woods — Creative Practices.

What even is a “creative practice” ?? Whether it’s a daily hike, a slew of morning pages, or simply a particular playlist while working, almost every artist has their routines that keep them centered and aligned.

Join Managing Producer Gabriel Anderle and members of the acting company as they discuss the creative practices that fueled Shakespeare’s work, Wilde’s work, and the work that goes on our very own stages every summer.

THURSDAY (August 13): Wine Night 🍷

Join us before THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST for a meal provided by Thyme Market and Catering and a slate of wines for tasting. Enjoy the Garden at Björklunden, and get a sneak peek at the pre-show activity on our stage!

📚 Fun Fact: LOVE’S LABOUR’S LOST was first performed for Queen Elizabeth and members of her court in a private performance!

Join us before this Wednesday’s 7:30p performance for a pre-show chat with members of the company where we’ll dig into powerful women of Shakespeare’s time, the powerful women of Shakespeare’s plays, and the way that they all continue to influence our work today.

We just can’t bear it. While we wish we could go on tonight, the continued smoke from neighboring wildfires has left our air unsafe to perform in.

THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST will be back in the Garden at Björklunden next week Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday — as soon as the skies clear.

In the meantime, if you had tickets for any of the performances affected by this week’s hazardous air quality, please reach out to our Box Office for next steps.
