The crow does not fear the dark. 🐦⬛
It's a night of haunts, spells, and sparkles that you don't want to miss!
Featuring: Sincerely Suree
Suree is an interdisciplinary artist who believes that art is powerful and a meaningful form of self-expression. She is a writer, sculptor, and dancer, and my performances blend belly dance with emotionally provocative storytelling and theatrical movements. Her dances always tell a story and carry a deeper message behind them.
By day, she is a preschool teacher and is the founder and executive director of Creative Healing Space, an arts nonprofit in Worthington, Minnesota. Creative Healing Space is an art and wellness organization that provides a safe space for people to create, connect, and heal.
She began belly dancing while living in Los Angeles in 2015. Since returning to Minnesota in 2017, she has continued exploring dance as a form of emotional expression. Every Halloween since 2018, she has created and performed a dark belly dance performance that combines movement, emotion, storytelling, and theatrical elements.
This year, she is excited for the opportunity to bring my performance to Celestial Veil Cabaret and share a piece of her story through dance.
