The Arts Center, at the Sioux Empire Fair, is a place designated to honor artistic talents, extreme kitchen skills, carefully cultivated vegetation, masterful sewing, knowledgeable antique collections, and incredibly crafted projects. The Arts Center is a place to gather annually to celebrate the creative side of life and to participate in contests and enjoy fascinating demonstrations.

Today is the day the exhibits get to go home. They've put in long hours showing off during the fair and they are ready for a break.

Surprising us all, Karen M. put away 15 corndogs in 8 minutes to earn herself the first ever championship title for the Taulelle Concessions Corndog Eating Contest for adult.

Karen earned a $100 Scheels Gift Card, and $40 Voucher to Taulelle Concessions, thanks to Taulelle Concessions, and a Corndog Eating Contest Championship Belt thanks to the Sioux Empire Fair/W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.

Thank you to all our participants who showed up with an appetite and a smile. We had an incredible time and are already starting to plan for next year.

TOMORROW is Release Day here in the Arts Center of the Sioux Empire Fair/W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds between 10AM and 4PM. The earlier you can pick up your exhibits the better we can assist you.

It's been an absolute great fair and we are so thrilled our exhibitors participated in the American milestone year with us. We are looking forward to 2027 and hope you are too.

You're not going to want to miss this. Our full adult Taulelle Concessions Corndog Eating Contest will be quite the show today as the contestants scarf down as many corndogs as possible in 8 minutes here on the Front Porch of the Sioux Empire Fair/W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds.

Join us for the competition. Who knows, we might just have some open spots to participate.

Congratulations to Brody K., our winner of the first ever Junior Taulelle Concessions Corndog Eating Contest! He wolfed down 4 corndogs in 6 minutes. I don't think he'll eat for a month now.

We had eight other amazing contestants give him a run for his money too. Thank you to everone who participated.

And a giant THANK YOU to Taulelle Concessions for providing the amazing $100 Scheels Gift Card and $40 Concessions Voucher, and thank you to the Sioux Empire Fair/W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds for providing the Championship Belt.

We're going to do it all again tomorrow with the adults at 2:30PM on the Front Porch. See you there!

WE ARE SO EXCITED FOR OUR FIRST EVER JUNIOR CORNDOG EATING CONTEST at the Sioux Empire Fair/W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds!!!!

Thank you to Taulelle Concessions for sponsoring this fun and yummy contest and its amazing grand prizes of a $100 Scheels Gift Card, $40 Voucher to Taulelle Concessions, and a Championship Belt for the winner. And the runner up will receive a $40 Voucher to Taulelle Concessions.

The contest is full, but we encourage everyone to still attend in case there are no-shows and we have to pull from the crowd.
