My name is Jennifer Anderson and I’m the Director of Just For Kix in East Sioux Falls! I’m entering in my 9th year as Director for the East Sioux Falls Program. My career in dance started in 2008 instructing Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Kick for the past 11 years. The best part of my job is to see my students love for dance grow, and to watch them shine when they perform. My love for d

ance started at 3yr’s old, over the year’s I trained in Ballet, Point, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Hip Hop, through the age of 18. Last night at the 2026 Just For Kix Directors Convention, Director Jennifer Van D**e had the incredible honor of receiving the prestigious Director of the Year Award!

This award is voted on by the Just For Kix Home Office staff and recognizes a director who demonstrates exceptional leadership, dedication, growth, and commitment to their dancers, families, staff, and community.

While my name may be on this award, this recognition belongs to so many people.

The dancers who show up every week ready to learn, grow, and chase their dreams. The families who trust us, support us, and make countless sacrifices. The staff who pour their hearts into every class, rehearsal, and performance. And the community that continues to believe in what we’re building together.

And most importantly, my family. To my husband, thank you for supporting me through the long days, late nights, and every season in between. And to my mom, thank you for always believing in me, encouraging me to chase my dreams, and being one of my biggest supporters every step of the way. I would not be where I am today without your love, guidance, and unwavering support.

This recognition belongs to all of us.

Being named Director of the Year is an incredible honor, but my greatest reward will always be the privilege of impacting the lives of the dancers who walk through our doors.

Thank you for believing in me, supporting this program, and allowing me to do what I love every single day. My heart is full, and I am beyond grateful.

All glory to God for the blessings, the opportunities, and the people He has placed in my life.
