My beautiful baby has arrived and we are all settled into his nursery. The mural has been soothing for the long nights of feeding, changing diapers, and rocking him to sleep.💙

I'm so happy I was able to paint this when I was pregnant with him. I love love love painting nurseries!

His name is Griffin, and I promise there's no correlation between his name and the Harry Potter house 'Griffyndor' 🤣

It's giving "forest theme with Harry Potter accents." 🌳🪄At least that's what I'm calling it.

It was so special to be able to paint my own baby's room. I wanted a scenic nature view that felt calming. And I LOVE Harry Potter so I knew I had to paint some elements that were inspired by the movie. (Can't wait for the show to come out this Christmas!)

Congratulations to the Reptile Adventure Zoo for over 6 months in business! It's been such a pleasure assisting the beautification of your zoo with murals. Your staff are certainly artists themselves by sourcing natural materials and designing each exhibit. Cheers to summer!

We had a great time celebrating new member, Reptile Adventure Zoo, with a ribbon cutting yesterday. Join us in congratulating them and wishing them continued success! They are located on the south side of W. Russell Street, near the intersection of E. 11th St. and S. Franklin Ave.

Reptile Adventure Zoo features more than 100 exhibits and interactive experiences like meeting free-roaming tortoises and holding baby alligators. Along with its hands-on attractions, the zoo also offers pet supplies, reptile adoptions and party space, making it a fun destination for visitors of all ages.

Tropical Mural - 47ft x 5ft.

Hours of prep, mock ups, client communication, and color decisions went into planning this massive tropical exterior mural BEFORE painting.

I thought it would be fun to show a little bit of the process of designing this one. I'm not quite a pro at the ipad digital mock ups yet with , so this one was sketched by hand. 😘

They loved the idea and mock up and trusted me with my vision. Now they can't stop getting the neighbors to stop and admire it, lol! They've been enjoying the tropical scenery while swimming in their pool.

Did I mention I was 7 months pregnant while painting this thing? 💙 Definitely kept me limber!

When your client wants a fun piece displayed on the back of his American Alligator feeder door, you make it happen! 🐊
Andrew and Stacey, owners of the Reptile Adventure Zoo, understand the importance of artwork in their business. They first hired me to paint several LARGE murals throughout their zoo (entryway, party room, photo backdrop, animal exhibits, etc). These all enhanced the customer experience and each photo taken in front of the murals is all FREE marketing for years to come. 🙌
Then they wanted to spruce up their back space with a whimsy painting for their staff. This was painted at home and adhered to the back of their Alligator feeder door. At dinner time, staff smile a little bit more entering this exhibit!
