🕯️ GRATITUDE POST🕯️
To the town of Worthington, Minnesota —
Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Standing at Centennial Park for the 3rd Annual Lighting of the Lanterns was more than a performance for me — it was a *calling*. To share space with a community brave enough to speak openly about su***de awareness, mental health, and substance abuse recovery is sacred work, and I don't take that lightly.
To Mark Stewart and Unspoken Truth — thank you for the vision, the trust, and the heart behind this event. What you're building in Worthington is bigger than one night. You're creating a culture where people don't have to suffer in silence, where lanterns in the sky represent lives that mattered and lives still fighting to see tomorrow. That's the kind of "Culture Is The Classroom" moment I live for.
This is why I do what I do. The Healing Hearts Tour isn't about the stage — it's about the person in the crowd who came because they lost someone, or because they're still fighting their own battle and needed to know they're not alone. If one lyric, one word, one moment of that night reminded somebody that their story isn't over — then Soli Deo Gloria, it was worth every mile to get there.
To every family who lit a lantern in memory of someone they love, to every survivor who showed up anyway — I see you. I honor you. And I'm not done showing up for you.
Believe. Belong. Become. 💜💛
Worthington, you didn't just host an event. You reminded a lot of people that hope has a hometown.
Grateful. Humbled. Still climbing.
