Bad Apple Drag Racing fought through it this year even with some pretty big set backs still placed in the top ten for this year! Congrats💪
So the sun sets on another season. It's a strange mix of relief and heartbreak. One one hand, its nice to pause, catch my breath, make adjustments, and be ready for next season. On the other....I'm a racer, and I'm gonna miss racing.
So here are the weekend and final 2026 season results:
Sat No-Box: out second round with a -.003 red light. Pretty disappointing because i had quite a few friends, fans, and sponsors out to watch. It was a tough day, lots of adversity, but i won't make excuses. Just went a little too early. Part of it, albeit one of my least favorite parts.
Sun: Made it to 4th/5th place finish, before an -.02 red light took myself out this time. But not unhappy with the way the day went.
2026 Season: I'd be lying if I said i wasn't disappointed in how my season ended. The last 3 race weekends were just difficult, fighting weather, parts failures and so on. The transmission failure was brutal, that was a big race weekend and I feel it cost me a lot of points. But thats part of drag racing. Most people dont know or forget about that. The actual racing is only one part of it. Keeping your car together, and consistent, is a very big piece as well. I did my best.
2026 No-Box class final standing 7th
2026 Pro-E.T. class final standing 9th.
I am proud of that, top 10 in both. I honestly felt i would have been in top 5 without part failures, but again, thats just part of it.
