“I joined the Lincoln and Omaha LEGO User Group and built my first MOC in 2017: a small reinterpretation of an M.C. Escher piece. I won't put myself in the company of the Dutch genius, but it turned out to be a sign of where I'd be going with this hobby.”
“In the last decade I have gone down various paths with math, art, perspective, new build techniques, and visual effects I have never seen in LEGO before. One thing is for sure -- my builds seem to be getting bigger!”
“These crazy swings result in some doubles, some strikeouts, and (I think) the occasional home run.”
“My greatest achievement as a builder was being invited to give my "TED talk" to the upper class assembly of the Isidore Newman School as the annual speaker for the Andrew Elkins Memorial Fund for the Creative Arts (my MOC made it there and back too!).”
“My greatest achievement as an AFOL was being entrusted with the LOLUG presidency for two terms, and all the great friends I have made along the way!”
“I am bringing this oversized portrait of a great American genius (stressing: *not* putting myself in the same company!) to Brick Falls...”
