A b**r tap handle does more than pour a b**r.
In most bars there are rows of taps side-by-side, and the handle becomes the visual cue for what’s being served. It communicates the brewery, the b**r, and often the personality of the brand. In many ways, it’s a small billboard sitting right at the point of sale.
For this project, we were handed two images that represented the labels on the cans and asked to turn them into physical tap handles. What started as flat artwork on a screen became fully dimensional, functional pieces that now sit on a bar, ready to pour.
From refining the shapes and adding layered depth to making sure the colors and characters stood out, the goal was to translate the personality of the artwork into a physical form that felt true to the original design.
Part 3D printing, part CNC. Turning flat artwork into a functional tap handle.
A small idea, a bit of design, and suddenly it’s something people interact with every time they walk up to the bar. Even though judging a book by its cover is never a good idea, the tap handle’s appeal is often a factor in which b**r someone decides to try.
If you have an idea you want to turn into something real, let’s build it.
