✨ Meet Our Apprentice, Jada Olson! ✨

We’re excited to officially introduce Jada to the Starry Eyed Body Art Studio family! 🖤

Jada has been apprenticing with us for the past 9 months, putting in countless hours learning the craft, refining her skills, and growing as an artist every single day. Her passion and dedication have been incredible to watch.

She loves creating pieces in fine line, traditional, and neo-traditional styles, and she’s always eager to collaborate with clients to bring meaningful ideas to life.

If you’ve been thinking about adding a new tattoo to your collection, this is the perfect time to support an up-and-coming artist who’s pouring her heart into every piece.

Help us give Jada a warm Starry Eyed welcome in the comments! ⭐️ We can’t wait for you all to see what she creates next.

I’m so proud of Brewer or better known as Tino and all of the hard work he’s put in so far. He is officially a residential artist with us at Starry eyes tattoo. He joined us as a self taught artist from the age of 15.His dedication to learning the sacred art of tattooing has inspired me to continue advancing my craft. I can’t wait til I’m back in the studio. I think it would be really neat to do a collaboration on some flash designs together. He’ll be covering the phones for us so call at 605-376-1619 to book with Tino. He likes answering calls it makes him feel “cool”

🖤 Studio Update & Recovery Journey 🖤

As many of you know, I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident recently. I wanted to take a moment to update everyone on my recovery and what that means for the studio.

My injuries include a broken right wrist, fractures in both bones of my forearm, internal bleeding involving my liver and pelvis, five pelvic fractures, a fractured p***c bone, a fractured tailbone with pelvic separation, and a crushed carotid artery that is currently stable. While I am incredibly grateful to be alive, I have a long road ahead of me.

At this time, I am non-weight-bearing on both my arms and legs and am working hard through physical therapy every day. My doctors estimate a recovery period of approximately 6–12 weeks before I can safely return to tattooing. I am tentatively booking for August, with hopes that I will be walking closer to the 6-week mark rather than 12, but my health and healing will ultimately determine that timeline.

While I focus on recovery, I want to recognize the incredible people who have stepped up to support both me and Starry Eyes Tattoo

✨ Parker, has gone above and beyond by coordinating and helping build our new website and POS system, meeting with me and the artists to answer countless technical questions, and introducing an amazing new skin health and tattoo aftercare product line to the studio.

✨ Jada, our apprentice of 8 months, has truly risen to the occasion by managing new client inquiries, maintaining excellent communication, and being an invaluable team player during this difficult time.

✨ Robert, our newest apprentice, has continued showing up with dedication, faith in our vision, and a willingness to learn as he develops his skills in this new career path. His help keeping the studio running smoothly and clean has been greatly appreciated.

To my clients, friends, family, and everyone who has checked in, donated, sent meals, prayers, kind messages, or simply thought of me—thank you. The support has meant more than I can put into words.

This accident may have slowed me down, but it hasn’t stopped me. I’ll be focusing on healing, rebuilding my strength, and getting back to doing what I love as soon as it’s safe to do so.

🖤 For Those Asking How to Help

As a self-employed tattoo artist, being unable to work means I currently have no way to bring income home while I recover. Between medical expenses, rehabilitation, and supporting my family during this time, every bit of help makes a difference.

Many of you have asked how you can support me, and while there is absolutely no obligation, donations can be made through my Venmo: https://venmo.com/u/Kat-Garrison-8

Whether it’s a donation, sharing this post, sending a message, or simply keeping me in your thoughts and prayers, I am deeply grateful for every act of kindness and support during my recovery.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support of our studio during this chapter.
