The Rolvaag Writing Cabin is the famous birthplace of Giants in the Earth by Ole Rolvaag—originally a lake house in MN, it now resides right across the street from Augustana University. The cabin was built from logs and land given in a grant from the National Forest Services; when the grant ran out, it had to be moved!

On a rainy Saturday in June, dozens of people enjoyed a remarkable presentation on "Iceland: Land of Ice and Fire" by Sioux Falls raised Adam Beirstedt. Adam is incredibly knowledgeable and loves sharing this with others. He also recommended some further reads on the Icelandic Sagas and history of Nordic people.

Preparations are under way for our Spanish language camp this summer! How many words do you recognize? Maybe you’d like to brush up on your linguistics? Camp for ages 6-12 start the 28th but fear not, there is also intergenerational Spanish Sep 6th-8th
