(No Booster meeting in September) New choir parents especially welcome! We would love to meet you and share how we all play a part in supporting our children in this program.

🍗 OGHS ANNUAL FALL CHOIR KICKOFF CHICKEN DINNER! 🎶

Happy first week of school! We’re just about ONE WEEK away from one of our favorite choir traditions! 💙

Come kick off the new choir season with us! Families will have the opportunity to:

The Choir Booster Club covers the meal cost for all choir students! Gluten-free meal options are available.

Senior Honor Choir 2026

This past week, 7 O’Gorman choir students attended South Dakota Senior High School Honor Choir at Black Hills State University in Spearfish. From Sunday through Friday, they spent the week rehearsing with outstanding directors, refining their vocal technique, and learning to bring greater emotion and artistry to their performances.

Congratulations to our outstanding soloists:
Beckett Moffitt and Sarah Castle were selected as two of the nine soloists for the Dies Irae movement from the Requiem.
Maisie Honorman was chosen as one of three soloists for Death Came A’Knockin’.

The O’Gorman Concert Choir, under the direction of Mr. Nick Engbers, performed Irish Blessing (Song of Farewell) by Garry A. Cornell - a meaningful sendoff for the Class of 2026.

As we celebrate our seniors and close out the 2025-2026 school year, we wish to recognize the incredible parents and supporters who have poured so much into our choir program this year. 💙🎶

Congratulations to senior Lucy Baloun on receiving the National School Choral Award! 🎶👏

This national honor recognizes a graduating senior who has demonstrated outstanding musicianship, leadership, dedication, and contribution to their school’s choral program throughout their high school career. It is one of the highest individual honors a high school choir student can receive.

Lucy was recognized for this award at our spring choir concert and will be recognized again at the Senior Awards Mass on Friday, May 15th. We are so proud of you, Lucy, and all you’ve contributed to the OG choir family! 💙🎵

All State Show Choir (and All State Jazz Band) is taking the stage at Mitchell High School today! We are so proud of these talented students for representing their schools and communities at such a high level. ❤️👏

Representing OGHS in show choir is: Jimin Lee (10th), Molly Johnson (12th), and Micah Benjamin (11th).
