A Personal Thank You ❤️
I want to take a personal moment, as the Founder & Artistic Director of Jensen Performing Arts Center, to say thank you to four very special people who have been behind the scenes, beside me, and often right in the middle of the work it has taken to bring my dreams to life.
My wonderful husband, JD McCully, father, Craig Jensen, and my uncle, Keith Jensen. Not to forget my sweet mother, Marilyn Jensen, who is typically chasing after our son, Callen.
You have moved, built, fixed, hauled, measured, painted, problem-solved, and done countless things that most people will never see. But more than the physical work, you have given me your time, your talent, your encouragement, and your belief in me.
Jensen Performing Arts Center is so much more than a building to me. It is a dream that I have poured my heart into—a place where artists can create, dancers can grow, musicians can make music, and our community can come together. And I know without a doubt that I could not have gotten here without the four of you.
There have been long days, big projects, unexpected problems, and probably more trips to the hardware store than any of us can count 😂. Through it all, you have continued to show up.
Thank you for helping me build more than a performing arts center. Thank you for helping me build a dream.
I love you, and I am so incredibly grateful for each of you. ❤️
