An important artistic toy for Adaptive Arts Chaplaincy. It is amazing how many shapes can be created from this. It distracts pediatric patients, and children of patients, very effectively in scary circumstances. And is naturally comforting for neurodivergents of all ages.
The What'Zit (often stylized as What-Zit or Whatz-It) is a popular sensory fidget toy frequently recommended for individuals with autism, ADHD, and sensory processing needs.

The What'Zit is a tactile tool made of six brightly colored wooden blocks strung together with a heavy-duty, durable elastic connector.
Action: The blocks can be snapped, folded, flipped, twisted, and pulled to create endless shapes.

Touchstones can be a powerful way to bring diverse community together around a common cause or purpose. Natural stone can be used, or they can be cast from different compounds to embody different themes. UV or acrylic markers add wonderful, meaningful effects. And exterior paints can be chosen for community gardens. Words used are for focus, inspiration, meditation, or study.

Despite bitter cold and wind for the first half of the day, we still received enthusiastic young painters at our mobile studio. Thank you to those who did not let cold temps stop you. Thank you to parents for letting us share some smiles. We are grateful to see this studio is a working model. Our next mobile studio is May 16th at the Sweet Repeats.
