The iconic free music festival in Sioux City's Grandview Park, which the two childhood friends started in 1991, has grown into a major cultural event, featuring big-name acts that annually draw tens of thousands of people from throughout the Midwest.

✨ Imagine hundreds of lights rising into the night sky… then suddenly becoming something bigger.

A waving flag. A soaring eagle. A patriotic tribute. A moment the entire crowd watches together.

That’s the magic of a drone show.

For the 250th anniversary of the United States, Saturday in the Park is adding an unforgettable new finale after the fireworks. With help from Fantasy Drone Shows out of Norfolk, Nebraska, the sky over Grandview Park will come alive with movement, color, music, and custom aerial artwork.

A drone show is more than lights in the sky — it’s storytelling. It’s technology, creativity, and emotion all working together to create that “did you just see that?” moment.

🇺🇸✨ A historic night deserves a historic finale.

In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, Saturday in the Park is excited to announce that this year’s fireworks will be followed by a spectacular drone show over Grandview Park!

We’re partnering with Fantasy Drone Shows out of Norfolk, Nebraska, a team known for creating breathtaking aerial displays with glowing drones, custom animations, movement, shapes, symbols, and patriotic visuals that light up the night sky. Their shows are designed to take fireworks to the next level and create a truly unforgettable experience.

After the fireworks, keep your eyes on the sky — because the celebration won’t be over yet.

🔥 Get ready, Abe Stage — Discrepancies is bringing the energy to Saturday in the Park!

Straight out of St. Louis, Discrepancies has built their name on what they call Real Rap Rock — a hard-hitting blend of rap, rock, and explosive live performance. What started with a grassroots demo called “Get Hype” being dropped into food bags at a drive-thru has grown into national tours, millions of streams, and stages shared with Tech N9ne, Hollywood Undead, Nonpoint, Dropout Kings, Wolves At The Gate, and more.
