Little artist's imagination will run wild THIS SATURDAY, September 5!

The Art Hive Kids Zone is going to be packed with FREE creative activities for all ages to enjoy!!

🖌 PAINT the Wall for All Community Mural (ALL AGES)

🖍 COLOR with Brutal Doodles

🧶 WEAVE a friendship bracelet with The Untwisted Fibre

🎨 CREATE chalk murals

ADD in some henna with Magical Moments with Michelle (available for purchase) and it will be the perfect day in the alleys of downtown Sioux City!!

On Saturday, September 5, take a stroll down our 5th St. Vendor Market featuring one-of-a-kind creations 40 stunning regional artists!!

There will be artwork something for EVERY style and EVERY budget! Find your next favorite piece (or three!) while supporting Siouxland artists and helping creativity grow and thrive in our community.

NEW THIS YEAR - Art vendors will be conveniently located next to the food trucks with the Kids Zone and alleyway stage just around the corner! You’ll be right in the middle of all the action while you browse!

LET’S GROOVE! 🎶 This Saturday, September 5, lose yourself in the music at Alley Art Festival 2026!

The BRAND NEW alleyway stage is bringing together an eclectic lineup that jumps from soul-clapping blues rock and Louisiana Zydeco to electro grunge and darkwave rock.

Buskers will be strumming a little something while you wander the alley's many murals, support 40+ art vendors, paint the Wall for All Community Mural, have fun in the Kids Zone, and so much more all from 11am - 11pm in downtown Sioux City!

ONE WEEK • Alley Art Festival 2026

From 11am - 11pm on Saturday, September 5, the alleys of downtown Sioux City will be rocking with fun for the whole family!

Here's what's happening:

BRAND NEW MURALS - The alley is home to 140+ murals with 27 NEW MURALS joining the collection this year!

Murals are created by talented local and regional artists selected through an application process. Their work has transformed an unconventional alleyway into one of Sioux City's most unique public spaces.

Vote for your favorite mural to help decide who receives this year's People's Choice Award!

ART VENDORS - Shop a wide variety of original art from 40 talented regional artists and makers along 5th Street and add a one-of-a-kind piece to your collection!

FAMILY ACTIVITIES
The fun keeps going! Enjoy a variety of FREE creative activities throughout the day including:

BlackCat Zydeco is taking the BRAND NEW alleyway stage as this year's headliner! The impressive line up features the Kris Lager Band, Sexy Ca$h, Plastic Blow, John Roxborough, and more!
Buskers will be popping up throughout the day as you wander the festival.

FOOD & DRINKS
Come hungry! Four local food trucks will be serving up delicious meals and snacks all day long from Diamond Thai, Robles Taqueria, Mama Moon Raye’s Eats & Treats, and La Palapa.

Grab an ice cold beer, wine, water, and soda from the bar in the alley behind Vangarde Arts.!

Alley Art Festival 2026 is welcoming a RECORD 40 art vendors selling their original handcrafted creations! Find artwork from Grain and Groove, Derek Buckley, The Untwisted Fibre, Britton Hacke Photography, Electrified Reality, George Masquat, Daymoon Studio by Toryn Kelly, D'Colores, and many more!

Your $5 ticket gets you access to the art vendors, 4 local food trucks, 27 new alleyway murals, and live music all day long!! Kids 12 & under get in free!

Festival favorites Robles Taqueria, Mama Moon Raye’s Eats & Treats, Diamond Thai, and La Palapa (we're excited they're back too!) will be with us ALL DAY LONG!

CREATE your very own coaster at Alley Art Festival 2026!

The Nameless Project is popping up in the Kid's Zone with this fun, family friendly activity on Saturday, September 5!

This project is a freewill donation, with proceeds supporting The Nameless Project, a Sioux City nonprofit that connects people with the resources they need, including bus passes for those who need a little help getting where they need to go.

Of course, there's a lot more FREE family fun happening that day! Kids can also:

🖍 Color with Brutal Doodles

Art vendors are showing off paintings, pottery, jewelry, crochet, handcrafted furniture, upcycled clothing, drawings, and plenty of original art beyond that with something for every style and budget!

Spend Saturday, September 5 wandering the alleys! Tickets are only $5 at the gate with free admission for kids 12 & under.
