🎓 THIS WAS COHORT 1. COHORT 2 STARTS JUNE 9.

These students showed up. They committed. They completed 100 hours of theory, lab, and clinical training — and they graduated as CAL Certified Nurse Aide candidates.

Many of them entered balancing work schedules, family responsibilities, and life — and they still made it through.

Here's the schedule for Cohort 2:
📅 Tuesdays and Thursdays — 9AM to 3PM
📆 6 weeks total — just 2 days a week for 5 weeks
🏥 Clinical week is the final week — Monday through Friday

Registration for Cohort 2 was supposed to close today. But we made the decision to extend it to Saturday June 6 because we know some people are still working things out — and we don't want the right person to miss this opportunity.
So here's where we are:

“When I first started, I was so nervous. I kept thinking, ‘I don’t know what I’m doing… I don’t know if I’m going to be able to finish this.’

Then we got to the mannequin labs, and honestly, that was scary too. I felt confused and unsure of what to do. But our instructor was so patient and kind. She showed us everything step by step and made sure we understood.

When it came time for clinicals, she was always there for us. Anytime we didn’t know how to do something, she helped us through it. I remember worrying about what other people thought, and she told me, ‘Don’t worry about them. You worry about me.’ And she was right.

By the end of the program, we made it. We finished. And looking back now, I’m so glad I didn’t give up.” - Lymoni W.
