When your Southern kids live on the West Coast and it’s Christmas and New Year’s, it’s only right that you make a stop at and pickup collards and black eyed peas before heading out there!

From finding the perfect field of golden rod, to catching the rain water to extracting the dye to sting the fabric! It’s all done by my hands! I absolutely love what I do and consider it a great honor to be a steward of our beautiful earth! Preserving its beauty through art.

Fast forward to the last day of Fall festival, without making this super long, was drawn to “Good Morning, a piece based on Pawley’s Island marshes.

I love when customers share where they have hung my pieces. I don’t think Cindy could have picked a better place!

My piece goes perfectly with the indigo/cutch pillows Cindy hand dyed. Meant to be together!!

Check out , Cindy’s page. Cindy is a talented natural dyer and clothier. I can’t wait to share this week the two neckerchiefs I bought from her festival last week.

This is one of my favorite pictures of me with my parents. If you know me, you know that the greatest honor for me is when someone says “You are so much like your mom!”

She was an absolutely incredible mom, wife, Grammie, Mimi, and Grandma Helen. There was nothing she couldn’t do. Even though it’s been almost 8 years since Jesus took her home, I miss her every single day!!

So much love went into these pieces! The mountains are where my heart longs to be!
