Hey theatre fans! LITERATURE IN ACTION UNBOUND will be holding auditions for its upcoming production of Shakespeare's THE MERRY WIVES OF WINDOR.

Keep in mind that Literature in Action Unbound (ages 13-25) and Literature in Action, Junior (ages 9-15) are FREE performance-based after school workshops for young people with a focus on famous world and American literature in play form.

We are thrilled to announce that the Simi Valley Cultural Association has been awarded an Arts and Culture Investment Fund Grant from the County of Ventura and the Ventura County Community Foundation! This support will enable us to continue enriching our community through vibrant arts and cultural programs.

Thanks to this grant, we will be able to continue developing and providing free creative arts programs for young people in our community, nurturing and encouraging them to express themselves in their own unique voice.

Hey parents! Here’s a great opportunity for your kids to continue their theater fun over the summer!

It’s our FREE Literature in Action Junior program for kids 9-16. It’s a performance/production workshop based in classic world and American literature. This time it’s an adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic, TREASURE ISLAND!

Here’s all the info…we hope you’ll take advantage of this amazing workshop!!

This program will be starting July 16th,we will be rehearsing Tuesdays, and Thursdays 4pm-7pm and Saturdays 11am-2pm.
Tech week we will be meeting everyday August 26th-29th from 4pm-8pm with performances August 30th and 31st at 7pm (call time is 5:30pm)
and September 1st at 2pm (call time is 12:30pm)
