Hollow Studios was born out of a love for filmmaking, animation, visual effects, themed entertainment and rides. HISTORY
Founder David Love: I began working in the film industry right out of High School at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank. Whi
le working there in film production with some of the best artists in the world, the inspiration to start my own production company came naturally. I have always been fascinated by the possibilities of creating immersive themed entertainment with film content being the driving force. For years I obsessed, trying to figure out how to make that happen and in 2008 that dream was realized and Hollow Studios was launched. From my humble beginnings producing sales and training videos to creating award-winning media-based attractions and films, the journey to where we are today has been extremely rewarding. WHERE WE’RE HEADED
Storytelling has been around since the earliest human beings sat around campfires. That same drive to share our adventures— real and imagined— still exists within us today. As technology has advanced, the tools have changed— bringing us illustrations, photographs, moving pictures, CGI and now an emerging Virtual and Augmented Reality field where a viewer can feel completely immersed. A child can spend hours completely involved in the world of a cardboard box that to them is the most realistic Spaceship in the universe. Storytellers tap into that same magical spark of imagination. From there, if properly nurtured, it can take on a life of its own, guiding its own path as it’s developed. Hollow Studios is committed to never losing sight of that spark of imagination while at the same time staying on top of the constantly emerging technology that can help us to create and design stunning media for any platform. In short, we understand the tools and we make a point of remembering what it’s like to play and have fun. Hollow Studios is a complete End to End production company with the ability to produce a project from story development to final delivery.
