The HeART of Horses Equine Art by Elizabeth Peters I work with acrylic paints to depict equine and western themed paintings. I paint custom commissions too! Located in Silverton OR The possibilities are endless!

I began painting with acrylics as a hobby. What started as a way to enjoy my evenings and be creative has become a way to share art with the world! I am entirely self taught, painting many layers of glazes and fine details to depict horses and those who love them. I have painted many rodeo queens, contributed to silent auctions, and most recently was commissioned to paint the Junior Pinto World Ch

amp! Prices vary depending on size and subject. The most common size of a commissioned painting is 16X20. I can also paint 8X10 or anything larger or smaller. Want a frame? I can do that too! Ask for prices! How does it work? You send me an image. (Please make sure you have rights to the image). I will send you a contract. Sign and return it to me, and I start painting! You don't pay until pickup! The full price of the painting is due upon delivery. If for any reason you don't want or like the painting, that's ok. I will sell it or keep it for my private collection. (So far, no one has ever disliked a painting!)

Need it quick? That's possible too! However, due to the large number of commissions I am receiving, and the fact that most of them have time restraints, I will be charging an expedited fee for anything that needs to be completed in less than 90 days. Email me or call me and lets make a painting!

On the 27th a beautiful baby unexpectedly and tragically went home to our Lord after a brain tumor took her life, out of the blue. This baby is the niece of a very special friend of mine. People cope differently to tragedy, so to wrap my head around the cruel reality, I drew KenLee with colored pencil and oil pastel. Christmas has been shadowed by tragedy since the very first Christmas when King Herod murdered all the boys two and under in the vicinity of Bethlehem. KenLee flew home to celebrate the feast of the Innocents.

Merry Christmas to everyone on Facebook! Especially those who follow me from far away! It has been an exciting year full of love and adventure and I can't wait to keep on painting!
